Also, modding the iPod 5G/Classic with SD Card support , a huge battery and Rockbox support is the best way to make the best iPod still alive.

I also made an iPod Classic with a 3000mAh battery, a 1TB mSATA SSD and RockBox installed! 
@Aqraf I also have a similar mod on my 5G, the only difference being a SD card rather than a SSD drive!
The ultimate mod would be the addition of a Bluetooth receiver, but the limited space makes it almost impossible to do so...
